Overview
Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê was founded durring the late 9th century, by Tresëm Trthêyepî. The establishment of Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê was plagued by a lack of willing colonists. After attempts to pay people to resettle failed Tresëm Trthêyepî struck deals with nearby nations and communities to establish Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê as a prison colony.
Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 9th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.
Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of premissive baked earthen streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê's political statment focused walls are suffering from significent damage, so much so that examples can be pointed to no matter which section one might have within their line of site, and most of which render sections inoperable at present.
A look around Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring jsut long enough for it to be uncomfortable. Beneath this surface, the people of Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual.

Cultural Notes
A substantial minority of the locals are descended from foreigners alien to their local neighbors. They may have been religious exiles, economic migrants, indigenous locals surrounded by the existing polity, or a foreign settlement conquered within the relatively recent past. The locals may not be enthusiastic about being ruled by others not of their kind, and their neighbors may look askance at the way foreign customs or even laws may be maintained.
Gëgibl-rêdifino Fêqê's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by vertical proportions, pointed arches, external buttressing, and asymmetry in the general shape of its buildings. The decorative features of the style were key, consisting of large arched windows, pointed arches, vaulted ceilings, flying buttresses, and sculptures integrated into the structure itself. Occasionally, for very important buildings, an array of sculptures or one colossal sculpture might replace the entirety of the entrance to said building.
